Who we are and what we have to offer!

We are an active retired couple.   Here are our Swap options for your consideration:

(1).   Traditional Exchange :   We stay in your home while you stay in our home.   We can have an assigned friend act as a Host by meeting you and showing you around and/or helping you plan side trips and introducing you to the cultural events occurring at the time of your stay.   A maid comes for six hours every other week to clean and change bedding. A handy-man does yard work Saturday mornings.   Car exchange possible.

(2)   Alternate Date Exchange :   We would stay at your home while you are vacationing elsewhere.   Then, at another time, you would stay at our home while we are vacationing elsewhere.   Car exchange possible.

(3) Exchange Small Apartments :   If you have a small separate living quarters it is possible to arrange for us to swap the use of our One Bedroom   Apartment in return for the use of your Apartment.   We have a small one bedroom apartment that we use as a retirement office, located off of our back patio.   This kind of exchange can occur either when we are home or not.   It is possible to have the use of one of our cars if the same is available for us when staying in your apartment.

(4) Hospitality Exchange :   We would personally Host you in our home.   You would Host us at your home.   For this kind of exchange we would give our

guests the option of staying in our guest bedroom in our house, or, they could elect to stay in our One Bedroom Apartment off of our back patio where they would have more privacy.  

(5) House Sitting : Interested in having a responsible couple take care of your home at no cost to you?   We are open to House Sitting or Boat Sitting.

We are primarily interested in month-long exchanges.   However, all proposals will be seriously considered.

About us:

We are a retired couple who likes to be physically active. My wife is a retired educator who also conducted a Swim School business for 20 years.   I am a "mostly" retired   Psychologist.   We love experiencing other cultures.   We enjoy our family - especially our three Grandchildren.

I continue to conduct consulting on a part-time basis.   This requires that I, and my laptop computer, have access to the internet either at the exchange home or at an internet café close to where we would be staying.

We have a family business: Massage Therapy Training Institute.   Our oldest son is the CEO of this business. To see more about this go to www.mtti.org.  Couples who exchange with us will be offered free Gift Certificates for hour-long student massages at the school's Clinic, i.e. two massages each for each week they are our guests.

We love visiting areas where we can scuba dive.   We consider ourselves language challenged, but we love practicing Spanish.   We are interested in visiting many different parts of the world, to include other parts of the United States.

For those X-Pats living South of the boarder who need to come back every six-months to renew their Visa's: We live 45 miles from El Paso, Texas and would love to explore possible exchanges.   In fact, we are hopeful that we can develop several exchanges with X-Pats that can become regular annual exchanges.

We are primarily interested in month-long exchanges but will consider most all options.

Once a party contacts us indicating an interest in further exploration about an exchange we will email (we can mail but prefer emailing) our names, mailing address, phone numbers (including a FAX number) along with our email address.
